Acclaim is a web platform that facilitates discussion and feedback around video content. Professors and students can create folders, add videos (either curated clips from the web or actual in class/out of class recordings), and then securely share access with one another.
Videos can then be watched across devices, and professors/students can post time-specific comments that highlight and link to moments in each video. Each comment is clickable, and once clicked, the video will jump to the specific frame that is being discussed! This enables precise feedback and creates a tremendously engaging platform for students and educators.
In just two semesters, Acclaim was used in 9 different, higher education disciplines. Several hundred videos and thousands of comments are now submitted to Acclaim on a weekly basis.
